Academic Affairs supports the work of over 360 full-time faculty and librarians and administers more than 50 degree programs offered through eight schools. Through this office, the institution allocates resources and administers policies that undergird faculty work with highly talented students at a college characterized by a collaborative, engaged, rigorous academic community.

TCNJ Actuarial Science Club is an organization for TCNJ students who are interested in the actuarial career path. We meet biweekly to discuss resources, practice problems, job opportunities, and other related matters. We also host companies to present about the work they do, as well as recruit TCNJ students for internships. The organization is intended to be educational and informational for those looking to pursue an actuarial career.

We promote the performing arts in the college community by staging and/or sponsoring theatre productions of the highest quality. All College Theatre is the only organization on campus that stages plays rather than musicals. We are entirely student run with opportunities in many departments ranging from acting, directing, stage management, set design, carpentry, props mastery, lighting design, sound design, costume design, hair and make up design, and production management. Meetings are every Wednesday at 3pm in Physics 117!

The Phi Gamma Chi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho was founded on May 13th, 1978. Since then we have cultivated a lifelong brotherhood of intellectual, moral, and social development of our members. Our sisterhood in Alpha Xi Delta provides you with memories and friendships that surpass your four years at The College of New Jersey. The bonds formed within the Iota Omega chapter transform into lifelong connections.Sisterhood is just one aspect of all that AXID has to offer! Our chapter works closely with our philanthropic sponsor, The Kindly Hearts Campaign, which focuses on supporting children experiencing foster care and homelessness. Under the Kindly Hearts Campaign, the Iota Omega chapter works with HomeFront, a local organization that provides support for families facing homelessness in the Central New Jersey area. Our chapter holds several different fundraisers to raise money for HomeFront, two of our biggest being a fall semester pasta night, "Xiti with the Xi's" and our spring campus-wide soccer tournament, "Alpha Xi-Fa."

The AIAA Student Branch at The College of New Jersey is the first aerospace student organization in TCNJ’s history, affiliated with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the world’s largest aerospace professional society. We host technical seminars where we bring industry professionals and researchers to present on their work, introducing students to the latest developments in aerospace, aviation, and space exploration. We also run hands-on workshops that build upon classroom knowledge and expand students’ engineering skills. Overall we are a community where students across all majors can explore aerospace together, with upperclassmen mentoring underclassmen along the way.

The Anthropology Society is an organization aimed at discussing the many facets of anthropology, with a particular focus on the aspects that are less discussed in the classroom. Although the club is certainly geared towards Anthropology majors, the majority of the club is generally students from other majors with a personal interest in anthropology or the museum trips frequently done by the club. This encourages many students with similar interests to become acquainted with each other and the department, while discussing important anthropological topics or issues.

The mission of the TCNJ ACM student chapter is to create a collaborative environment in which all students interested in computing science can come together to share ideas, partake in activities, and learn together. ACM activities include tech talks, group trips, and an annual hackathon, HackTCNJ. ACM also connects students to resources in the computing community such as hackathons, computer science groups, and professional or academic opportunities. The Association of Students For Africa is an independent organization whose aim is to increase the awareness of African culture, diversity and its people amongst the entire student and faculty at The College of New Jersey. This organization will primarily serve as a community for students from African descent and its diaspora and also all TCNJ students/faculty regardless if they are from Africa, but are interested in learning about African culture and being connected to Africa.
